The FAA steadily modifying Part 107 of the Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Regulation. It modified the Operation of Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Over People rule April 2021 to permit routine operations over individuals and, in some cases, at night time. This change amends the original 2016 rule which referred to as for daylight-only operations and did not enable UAVs to operate over anybody not participating within the operation.
